At MaxCDN, you also have the option to create a Push Zone whereby your files are stored on our origin instead of being Pulled from your origin server. With Push Zones, you will have the option to use SFTP or Rsync to upload your files to secured content delivery network storage. MaxCDN Push Zones utilized for files over 10mb like download files can greatly free up storage and CPU processing power that your origin server would normally have to handle. You will also have the ability to create VOD (Video On Demand) Zones that can be used for Pseudo Streaming and other audio and video protocols like RTMP, RTMPE and many other streams using our CDN optimized Wowza Media Server installation.
