As an open source, content management system TYPO3 gives users the ability to enable content delivery network functionality easily through the extensive template editing system. In only a few short minutes, you can have your TYPO3 CMS running on a CDN in a set it and forget it fashion. You can then be assured that both your end-users, CMS users and yourself will have fast static content load times including the acceleration and compression of any JavaScript, CSS and image files. You will also have the ability to add some of the open source community plug-in that interact with third party applications such as Flowplayer to integrate pseudo streamed video or progressive download video into your CMS article posts. While no one-click CDN plug-in is currently available, the MaxCDN development team is hard at work working with other members of the open source community to create this new functionality. While the CDN module is currently not available you can still use content delivery network services by creating a CNAME DNS entry using your zone url. We are more then happy to help you with the integration!
