Getting Started with Leftronic and MaxCDN

Our new partnership lets you make your own dashboards with just a few clicks and zero programming.
A Tale of Two Companies
Last October I had a crazy idea: could we get NetDNA/MaxCDN into Leftronic?
I excitedly emailed Rajiv, their CEO, with a proposal. The response wasn’t an immediate “Go for it!”. When you’re running a business, especially a startup, you need to say “no” more than “yes”, and stay focused on your core strategy lest you wind up in the deadpool. I understood the concerns, but it didn’t stop me from trying: I put the idea on their Trello board, and thought of new ways to convince Rajiv.
After a few months of chatting, I eventually got this email:
Yes! It wasn’t hard to assure Rajiv this would be a great partnership; promotion and publicity are my forte =). We began the integration and Cesar, one of Leftronic’s talented engineers, finished the project in just a few days. Leftronic liked working with us so much they blogged about it, making it to the front page of Hacker News:
Nice Love Story, How Do I Get Started?
Good question! Leftronic uses our OAuth endpoint, so it’s secure and painless to make a dashboard for your NetDNA/MaxCDN account.
Here are the steps:
- Sign up for Leftronic (free for 30 days, no credit card required)
- Click + New
- Choose Blank Dashboard
- Give it a name
- Look for the MaxCDN logo in the Data Sources section (this works for NetDNA as well)
- Choose a Metric (e.g. World Maps)
- Hit Connect
- Login to your NetDNA/MaxCDN account
- Choose the Report Range
- Hit Save
