Hello World and Updates
August 20, 2012 | Justin DorfmanHello everyone. I apologize for not launching this blog sooner I was a little very busy. My name is Justin Dorfman and today is my first day as NetDNA's Developer Advocate (I just left the support department after a year and a half). I am so excited to get started on creating/working on cool projects like BootstrapCDN full time. If you have any questions or just want to talk please just email me jdorfman at netdna dot com or on twitter @jdorfman.
It all started on Github three months ago. Frank B. aka flashtopia mentioned NetDNA/MaxCDN and David, the VP of Marketing emailed me asking me to reach out to him. So I did and he told me he had no time. I then decided screw it, I will do it myself. I started on a Saturday Afternoon and finished on Sunday morning. I was wired in.
The beta site (and service) was launched on June 7th 2012, it was a good great day. Finally NetDNA is giving back to the Open Source Community.
The First Version on the BootstrapCDN
It started to take off. The first week I had 100+ tweets, 15GB of Bootstrap assets delivered and 2 million successful request! (Note: The site and service came out of beta on July 5th 2012, it wasn't documented because honestly I had no idea what I was doing at the time.)
To date we now have had over 21 million (21,407,983) request and 187.55 GB transferred. That is pretty amazing if you ask me.

What the future holds
You think we are just going to let this sit? Sorry that is not how we roll. This is what we have planned:
